AI & MCP Integration

A hosting panel built around AI management from day one

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant and let it manage your server. Every tool call is authenticated, permission-scoped, and logged.

Why AI

Why Manage Your Server with AI

Most server work still means SSH, commands and config files. With Amira, you ask in plain words and the AI does the work through the panel, with the same permissions and logs as the panel UI.

Safer Than Raw SSH

Working over SSH often means a root shell, commands copied from the web, and no record of who changed what.

With Amira MCP, every action uses a scoped API key (read, deploy or manage) and is logged. File and deploy actions run as the site's own system user, and the AI never gets a root shell. Risky actions such as deleting a domain ask for confirmation first. You can see every action, who started it, and when.

Let AI Do the Routine Work

Deploying sites, DNS changes, SSL, email setup, security scans and backups take a lot of small steps.

The AI can do these jobs for you and read logs and scan results when something goes wrong. You stay in charge: it works through the same panel, with the same limits.

One Request Instead of Many Steps

Tell Claude: "Deploy my Node.js app from GitHub on api.example.com with SSL and a PostgreSQL database." That is several separate tasks. The AI does them in one conversation.

Developers spend more time on their product and less on server setup.

Help at Any Hour

Ask for a malware scan late at night or a hotfix deploy on a Sunday. Ask why email stopped arriving, and the AI can check blocklists, DKIM records and mail logs for you.

The AI works through your panel, so it sees the real state of your server.

Built on an Open Standard (MCP)

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard created by Anthropic. It is not a private API tied to one vendor. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf and other MCP clients.

When AI models get better, your server management gets better too, without changes to the panel.

Built AI-First

When we checked (October 2026), cPanel, Plesk, aaPanel, HestiaCP, CyberPanel and CloudPanel did not include an MCP server.

Amira was built with MCP from the start. The panel UI and the AI share the same API, the same permissions and the same audit log.

MCP Server (Streamable HTTP)

A full Model Context Protocol server accessible via Streamable HTTP at /api/v1/mcp.

The MCP endpoint accepts standard MCP Streamable HTTP requests. Connect from Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, or any MCP-compatible client. Authentication is via API key with configurable scopes (read, deploy, manage). The server is part of the panel itself (https://your-panel/api/v1/mcp) — no extra services needed.

AI Chat Assistant

Built-in AI chat in the panel UI with autonomous server management capabilities.

The panel includes a chat interface where you can interact with AI directly. The assistant can execute multiple tool calls in sequence — for example, "deploy WordPress on shop.example.com with SSL and email" triggers domain creation, SSL provisioning, WordPress installation, database setup, and email configuration in one conversation.

Claude & ChatGPT Compatible

Works with Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client.

MCP is an open protocol by Anthropic. Any AI assistant that supports MCP can connect to your Amira Panel. Add the MCP endpoint URL and API key to Claude (Desktop or claude.ai connectors), ChatGPT, or your IDE's MCP settings. The AI instantly gains the ability to manage your entire server.

Multi-Step Actions

AI deploys apps, manages DNS and sets up email, step by step.

The AI can do multi-step jobs: deploy an app with SSL and a database, change DNS records, set up email with DKIM/SPF/DMARC, run security scans and manage backups. Risky actions such as deleting a domain or running a write query ask for confirmation first. Read-only actions run right away.

Large Uploads for AI Agents

Agents can put files of up to 20 GB on a site, outside the chat.

Agents with a terminal (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) can upload project archives, media and database dumps of up to 20 GB. The file goes over HTTPS in pieces and resumes after a dropped connection. The panel checks its size and SHA-256, scans risky file types with ClamAV, writes it as the site's owner, and can unpack it or import it into a database.

Scoped Permissions & Audit Trail

Every AI action is authenticated, permission-scoped, and logged to the database.

API keys carry one of three permission scopes: read (view configurations), deploy (create and change resources), and manage (destructive operations). Server-level tools require the admin role. Every tool call is logged with its arguments (secrets hidden), result, duration, and the user who started it.
